Originally from Hagertown, MD, I moved to Tacoma and started with Amber Trott State Farm in December 2020. I loved living in the Pacific Northwest, but needed to move to Pennsylvania due to family circumstances and now serve our customer's needs remotely. I love helping our families with their billing and coverage questions, scheduling appointments to meet with our team, and helping to take care of any needs that arise. I attended Frostburg University for college and graduated with a BA in Parks and Recreation Management and a BS in Psychology. I have a son named Jack, who is the love of my life. I look forward to continuing to take care of our Tacoma neighbors in the years to come.

I’ve lived in Tacoma my entire life, except for a brief study abroad in Uganda and an internship at the UN in Geneva, Switzerland. My experience at the UN taught me that, despite our differences, we are all quite similar. I loved being surrounded by diverse cultures and languages.
After returning from Geneva, I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University and spent ten years in the credit union industry, focusing on lending, talent development, and branch management. Realizing my passion for educating people about their financial options, I became licensed in insurance and now apply that same approach at State Farm, helping policyholders navigate their coverage options. Building strong relationships with customers is what I value most.
I’ve developed a wanderlust from a young age and have traveled to nearly every continent. Some highlights include hiking to Machu Picchu, encountering an elephant on safari, swimming with manta rays in Hawaii, and floating down the Mekong in Thailand and Laos. In my free time, I enjoy embarking on new trips, skiing, snowshoeing in winter, and hiking and kayaking in summer. I also love cold plunging year-round, and I appreciate living close to both the ocean and mountains.

Growing up in Northern California, I was immersed in the stunning natural beauty of giant redwoods and rivers that flowed into the sea. When I moved to the Tacoma area at 19, I quickly fell in love with the lush forests and abundant waterways of Western Washington.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my husband—hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping—as well as working on gardening and craft projects. I began my journey in the insurance world during the pandemic, leveraging my years of customer service experience to help people understand their coverage and tailor policies to fit their needs.
